Call 1-800-KNOW-NOW and you will be connected with a searching expert (a Know-It-All) sitting in front of a computer with Internet access. You can ask them to find any information available on the web: directions, definitions, trivia questions, sporting updates.... really, anything. You can direct them to a specific website, or let them use their expertise to find one for you. Your Know-It-All will then talk you through the answers to your questions.
What Can I Ask?
Almost anything. Our Know-It-Alls will search the Internet for any information you're looking for. 1-800-KNOW-NOW is the way to get all purpose access to the Internet over the phone with the help of an intelligent person to help find the information you're looking for. Know-It-Alls won't do in depth research, but will look for anything that can be found quickly. See Terms of Use.
Can I Ask a Know-It-All to visit a specific web site?
Sure thing.
Can I Ask a Know-It-All Check My Email?
Yes. If you're in a squeeze, just ask your Know-It-All to log in for you. However, we do not yet have a system in place to do this securely, so you'll need to give your Know-It-All your user name and password. We will be developing a more secure method soon. In the meantime we recommend you change your email password after giving it to anyone.

How Much Does This Cost?
If you allow a Sponsor to pay for your call, your call will be FREE. If you pay, each call costs $1 plus a per minute usage fee. Currently this fee is $0.10/minute. We will bill your credit card at the end of each month.
Do I Need to Register?
Yes. Two reasons. The first is because we strive to connect you to a Know-It-All who has similar interests to yours. This way there will be a greater likelihood they will be able to understand your question and find your answers as fast as possible.
The second reason is because we'd soon like to offer this service for free, paid for by advertising. When this option becomes available, we need information so we can match you with a sponsor you'd like to hear from. If you like sports, you'd probably rather hear an advertisement about sports. No matter what, you'll likely hear a mix of different advertisements over multiple calls, but registering with us will help us get you more pertinent information.
Who Are the Know-It-Alls?
Know-It-Alls are people scattered all around the country who have proven themselves to be great Internet searchers. Our Know-It-Alls don't work in a call center; they work from home, from dorm rooms, from apartments. Know-It-Alls are highly capable people. Many are students at elite college or recent graduates. Others just love the challenge of searching for info on the Internet.
They are like you: they are frustrated when they can't get to information that's on the Internet while they are away from their computer, so they are working to make it available to you anytime, anywhere. They are committed to being top notch searchers and working with you to get the information you're looking for.
What Information Do the Know-It-Alls Know About Me?
Not very much. We send them your name, your state, and a little more info that will help them personalize your call. They will never know your phone number or any billing information.

Can My Know-It-All Transfer Me To A Number We Find Online?
Yes. Your Know-It-All can transfer you to any domestic telephone number at the end of your call.
Can My Know-It-All Send Me a Text-Message with Key Information We Found?
Sure. Your Know-It-All can send you a text message with a brief summary of the key information that came from your search (the phone number, hours of operation, address, etc.)
Can I Ask Multiple Questions Per Call?
Sure thing, as long as it is within the same "line of questioning". For instance, if you are looking for the nearest theater playing a particular movie; you can ask for the theatre, directions to the theater and show times. But if you then want to know what the encyclopedia says about Medieval Spain, you'll need to call again (unless the movie is about Medieval Spain...). There is no hard and fixed rule, the Know-It-Alls have full descretion.
What If I Ask For Information the Know-It-All Can't Find?
If you ask for information that your Know-It-All can't find, you won't pay for the call.
What If My Know-It-All Gives Me Incorrect Information?
Know-It-Alls use the Internet to find answers and are informed on the best resources available. However, occasionally these sources are incorrect. Well...no. Because of the broad nature of 1-800-KNOW-NOW we cannot guarantee any information that our Know-It-Alls report.
